The C.A.R.E Approach
CARE is an acronym of our CARE Model that outlines teaching strategies and techniques that we at ECI believe assist in classroom administration and functionality as well as student academic achievements. These techniques help students feel safe in the classroom, allowing them to move from basic safety needs and emotional areas of the brain to operate in the frontal lobe of the brain where learning and problem solving take place.
Contact ECI to present these techniques to your staff for further exploration or to work with teachers individually. Teachers will explore strategies to create a safe and welcoming learning environment as well as incorporate differentiated learning styles to better meet the needs of all students.
Tighter budgets often result in larger class sizes creating a wider range of academic abilities. In one class, a teacher has a variety of students that may be the following:

Teachers are strategically positioned to identify students crying out for help.
